Since I've found myself with some free time and a few extra dollars I've been thinking about an online masters program. Anyone have any info on anything like this? Price, how they are seen in the job world, good programs etc.

Mainly its to alleviate boredom and to have something else other than just an aviation only background.

If it's for your own edification...go for it. To use it to further your career...don't go for it, unless of course you have a specific position lined up that will honor it.

Online Masters: ERAU?

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University offers online Masters Degree programs in:

Aeronautical Science, Science in Management, Technical Management and Science in Occupational Safety Management.

I'm not enrolled in their masters program, but i am 4 classes from completing my BS in Professional Aeronautics with a minor in Business Management at ERAU. I've taken a few classes online...if you're willing to teach yourself...then you'll enjoy it!

It wouldn't be to really advance my career but just to expand myself personally, give me something to accomplish etc.... I was thinking just a basic business masters. I don't think I need any more aviation college.
