it was a mistake. He went around 3 times because of wind shear and turbulence. 4th time around, forgot the gear.
 
That was the first Metro I ever flew. Can't say I have fond memories of it but then again I only liked the DHs.

It's never okay to joke about someone's career possibly ending, especially like this. That accident could have easily happen to me, or any member on this forum. Let's be respectful and be grateful that the pilot has no injuries and is able to walk way from this and learn from it.
