I'll try not to make this a big deal, since some people said some things about me for posting about the MHT collision, which apparently wasn't a big deal.

But this is just horrible:

NH Plane Crash

Saw it on the news last night when I got into MHT last evening. It was a little nasty out there.

Huge thunderstorms enroute from CVG as well. Not a good evening for general aviation whatsoever.

He described his location as approximately 15 miles west of Concord and said the plane was equipped with an emergency locator device that may have fallen off sometime before the crash.

Call me crazy, but since when do ELT's "fall off"? All of the planes I've ever flown in have the ELT inside the fuselage. Gotta love news reporters.

Back on subject though, it is very sad to hear about this. It sucks any time someone dies in a plane crash, but it always bothers me more when they are young. May God be with that family.

The pilot was the 48 year old. He was in fair condition yesterday morning, and in serious last night with two broken arms and a gashs to the head.

Sounds a little fishy to me also. I bet the plane didnt have one on to begin with.
