Well, my 3rd CFI got the call and is off to be an FO for a regional airline. So major congrats to him!!

Went up with CFI #4 for some night pattern work. Got my ass kicked by the winds which couldn't decide which direction to blow and by him pointing out every bad habit I've developed. Which was a really good thing, because I was able to see how to correct a lot of problems I've been having with my landings.

So anyhow, just wanted to share the news. The airlines appear to be hiring again. So there is hope for us yet.

I had three instructors for my private (which is a lot since I did it in just over a month).
First one got a job (eventually wound up at Value Jet).
Second one was just temporary, but has the claim-de-fame of flying with Yeager.
Third one signed me off (he is now a Capt. on United).
 
I've had 4 different instructors too. (one for my private, one for my instrument, one for my Comm, and one for my CFI

) (then lots more after that for various checkouts and CFI re-instatements)

But seriously, sometimes that happens and it sounds like you're makling the best of it by using the different instructing techniques of all your instructors to make you a better pilot!

Keep that attitude and you'll be fine!

I had 6 different instructors for my private training. It took forever to get my liscense because I was doing an intro flight with a different instructor about every month.

Naunga, what airport in cleveland do you fly out of?

Yeah,

That was from my long XC for my private in 1998. I landed at Providence RI and followed the "Follow Me" truck and it parked me right behind AF1. So I snapped a picture.

Don't think you can get that close now-a-days!

I can say with absolute certainty that he got a job with an airline that will PAY HIM to fly. Not the other way around.

You shouldn't make A lot of Silly Accusations like that.

What I didn't understand was how knowing what airline some anonymous cfi of some anonymous user is going to infringe on his privacy. Its certainly naunga's option to post whatever he wants though, and I respect that.
