OH BOY

There's probably somebody selling 2 minutes worth of air for 50 cents out in the world - and (s)he's probably got people in line ready to buy it!!!

Idiots...

How different is thier seminar than playing with the Garmin in FS2004? Plus, you can order those cool books from Marv Golden that tell you how to use the GPS. Unless there's flight time involved (and at that price, there BETTER be) it would be better to learn it from the book. But what do I know?

Find Garmin's simulator for the 430 and 530's. They are really easy to learn...I personally would not pay that much to learn this easy system.

To each his/her own. Now, a KLN 90B is a lot less user friendly and might be worth a 1 day seminar, but not for that price.

Not only can you download the Garmin 430 and 530 manuals for FREE off of garmin.com, but you can also download a FREE simulator that works exactly like the real one does!!! I wouldn't pay for this seminar unless it included some actual flying using the GPS.

What a ripoff, we do weekly FREE avionics seminars for our renters and students, alternating between the Garmin 30 and the KLN 94. Granted it seems more in depth than ours, but with our seminar and some time using the simulator and reading the manual, the pilot will have enough knowledge to safely use the GPS.

Ha ha, notice the opening line:
