The official Network Jetcareers 2007 hotel is…

The Monte Carlo

www.montecarlo.com

Per Room cost for three nights, will be $367.00 plus 9% tax.

THAT COST IS NOT PER NIGHT, BUT FOR THREE NIGHTS!!!!!!!

We will provide an opportunity for those singles coming to bunk up with someone else to split the cost of the room. Based on Double Occupancy the room rate will be 196.50. Per night per person that is about $67.00. CAN’T BEAT THAT!

The best part is that if the rate goes down, before the event, they will adjust it to match that rate! They routinely offer Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, nights for $60.00!

Why Monte Carlo?

Location, location, location. It is right in the middle of the strip between New York New York and the Bellagio. We will have easy access to all the excitement Las Vegas has to offer without having to worry about spending a fortune for taxis, waiting in line for busses, or making thirty minute walks! During the last few networking events, we have spent the most time in that area. The Monte Carlo will provide us the BEST location possible to make those attending Network JC an opportunity to get the most out of Vegas and Network Jetcareers 2007.

Booking details to follow!

added info:

Rate Information (assuming 3 nights):

This is the rate for double occupancy correct? I checked their website and they give the $367 rate for two beds, two people which makes it $61.50 per person/per night.

I seem to recall Vegas being very picky about the number of people you squeeze into a room. If some try to squeeze two more, the rate jumps to $519 which makes it $43.25 per person, per night.

Shoot, better squeeze a couple more people in. Can't beat $43.25 per person/per night

I'm stoked already....the wife has already found our flight reservations and will be getting in on Friday night so we can spend a couple of extra nights there :-)

Cool and the Gang, I'm reserving my room this weekend. Fortunately that is PAYDAY and I'm feelin like Johnny Kemp!!!!!

Great work Segs!!! :)

I'll post the rest of the info as soon as i get the contract signed and faxed.

with that, i just want to mention that when you book your room (i'll be giving out a group code), you can add or subtract days to your rental time, so if your coming in for the entire weekend, you can stay in the same room at the same rate they provide over the phone for our group code. Fri & Sat nights will be more expensive but Monte Carlo is one of the nicer and more inexpensive hotels on the strip...

I really enjoyed it there when we stayed there and it seemed like the gaming odds there were good!

So are we responsible for booking our own rooms or is Kristie all over that one once she gets a good headcount?

nope, you are responsibile for booking your own room WHEN i hand out the group code (tomorrow).

What i'll be doing tomorrow is signing a contract that guarantees us 20 rooms for a specific rate (which could come down as we get closer to october)...I've asked that our block of rooms be located in the same area but they're unfortunately not guaranteed.

once i get that done, i'll provide a booking group code in this forum... then using the 1-888 number, you'll call and book your room for the number of nights you need it using the group code and rates associated.

talking to the group sales guy revealed that it would be a lot easier to do it this way cuz if anyone needs dates changes on their room or what not, there's paperwork involved if everything is under my name....

also, if you prefer a smoking room to a non-smoking room, they're on separate floors...and the group sales guy said that there are double and king sized rooms about every other room on each floor...so you should be able to specify if you want a double queen or king sized bed.

does that make sense?

Yup. So I just need to make sure I book before the 20 rooms that you reserved are booked? I'm still debating if I am going to be able to make it or not; mainly depending on how much airfare is.

I can get more than 20 rooms if needed, that shouldn't be a problem. but it does have to be booked by September 21.

Seggy is the man. He was already working on details for 07 at 06. I heart the Segster.

I'll come (as always) but would like to share a room with a few people - of course, I have no idea where I'll be flying (driving?) in from...

So is everything happening at the Monte Carlo?

I know I can score at least one free room or maybe even a suite.

MODERATORS...Can someone add this post to Seggy's opener......
