Nothing Like Meeting Fellow JC\'ers!!!

C650CPT was gracious enough to let me come out and hang out for a bit with him at the Smyrna airport today. Thought I'd share a few pics and say thanks, again, for the tour of the Citation!!!

And Lloyd, why do you always look like you could eat someone in every picture I've seen of you? You seem like a nice guy, but you look like you could snap me in two (...ok you probably could...)!

It's been a prime week....I get to meet the whole WMU flight team, then C650CPT drops into town....I really wish we could get everyone together at the same time!!!!!!

I spent so much time being mean and nasty that I really enjoy just relaxing and watching nature now!!! I couldn't hurt a fly these days!!!!

Western's flight team has got some great guys on it. Used to hang out with Justin L. my freshman year when I was still in the COA, great guy. Ian lived in my dorm last year, too. He's also a very cool kid.

Word on the street is that Daytona's flight training has taken a nosedive. Who took first this year, BTW?

Hey 650CPT, let me personally thank you for showing MTSU around the jet. That's truly the spirit of why I started the website -- to bring folks together that had a thirst to learn with those that were in a position to spread some real-world knowledge.

Hey, Doug, he was very cool about it. Awesome guy. Fired up the APU and all the avionics and patiently answered every silly question that this extremely low time CFI could spout out.

Great pics. If anyone is going to be in Detroit I wouldn't mind getting out of the terminals to check out your plane and learn a few things.

The pleasure was mine, thanks for driving up. I'm fortunate to get around this country quit a bit so I try to look up JCrs where I can, as Stan ( ready2fly ) said it is impressive the quality of people here on this site.

Doug it is I who should thank you for putting together and maintaining a great site. I feel like a visitor in your home as I enjoy my time here at JC. I've always have enjoyed sharing my experiences and opportunities to those coming up and this site is a most excellent place to do that.

I had a great time with Lloyd and look forward to meeting other JCrs.

If anyone ever makes it up to Grand Forks, ND in the winter, first of all I'm sorry, and second of all shoot me a message, I'll be more than happy to meet up with you and show you around UND (though I dont have a car). If anyone is out in Tokyo by any chance over the summer shoot me a message as well. I'd be more than happy to meet up with you and show you around there as well.
