Hey folks, I might not be posting much around here for a little while. I'm trying to ween myself off the computer, and find some other stuff to occupy my time. I've been getting dang worked up about flying in the time I'm NOT flying, which sure isn't good. Just too much bad news lately... I'd rather kinda dip my head in the sand and forget it all for a bit. I'll stop by every once in a while, and I'll be back. Just need to chill out and sort some things out! I'm getting too stressed out!

Anyways, have fun, keep the blue side up! Figured I shouldn't just slip into the background without saying "later!"

Understandable ... coming home from work to talk about work may lead to burn out.

It's good to have other interests/hobbies.

I may have to follow suit ... not because I fly for a living as well, just shouldn't be running to the computer every time I get home.
 
I know how it feels not to be flying for a very long time. Since I do aerial photography, our winter season is pretty much just "on-call" work. I have only flown 3 times in the past month.

I thought it would be cool to have a lot of time off work, but this is just unbelievably aggravating! Since it's very cold and snowy outside, I can't go rollerblading or jogging like I used to. And I can't afford a membership to a gym to stay fit (actually, I can't afford to pay my rent based on my current salary

Hang in there. Hopefully things will pick up soon.
 
Dudes, I can't keep away. I had a 3 hour sit waiting for my flight in MCO, and there was free internet. Where did I end up? The message boards. There is just no getting away!

I guess sometimes it is therapy, though. Talk about flying, get mind of other crap!
 
Don't come for the aviation stuff, come for the comraderie Matt!

Seriously, I think the best part of the site is just talking to people about non-aviation topics.
