I did a trip to HNL while in high school to visit my grandparents there. Was my first time flying solo that far, and I booked through a travel agent. That included flying AA to LAX, getting a hotel, and then flying ATA to HNL the next day. The routing was LAX-OGG-HNL. During the stopover in OGG I went up to the cockpit. L-1011 Crew was amazing and let me hang out there for about a half hour, showing me around the cockpit and what not. This must have been 1998 I think. Have a photo somewhere.
