Problem Newsbot Inconsistency

When I hit "new posts" on my PC, I get the new stuff sans Newsbot, but on Tapatalk, the Newsbot posts show up. Not a big deal, but wondering why?

This is actually an interesting question, because I surf JC almost exclusively using the New Posts link, and therefore have no idea what you are talking about with Newsbot... there's a newsbot here?

I can configure which topics show up on the new posts button but not the same for Tapatalk. It's really it's own creature.
