Newbie...well sort of!

Hi all,

I have been lurking for quite some time and I have reached a point where I feel comfortable posting a message. Some other web sites are definitely *not* as inviting as Doug's.

A quick background...I am originally from France. I came to the US along with my parents almost ten years ago. I started flight training at a local FBO here in the San Francisco Bay Area and completed my private training there. After that, I continued my flight training at Sierra Academy, where I currently instruct.

Just like most of you, my goal is to become an airline pilot.

I'll do my best to participate on a regular basis; I'm looking forward to future discussions.

Welcome to the JC krew! We're hoping to get over to france in a few weeks.. any preference on where we should visit -> outside of paris/versailles?

Thank you for the welcome. If you have not gone to Nice down south, I would highly recommend it. Also, the country side in the West and the Alpes, of course.

Let me know if you guys need anything to plan your trip; My mom and I might be able to help you.
