I did it! I am finally a pilot after a year and a half!!!! It feels great. On to the IFR ticket.:rawk::rawk:
 
Congratulations.

Plus, now you have established your airman certificate number. The FAA went back to issuing certificate numbers in sequence some years ago, so 20 or 30 years from now you can look at other pilot's numbers and if they are smaller than yours (or a SSAN) you can say "whipper-snapper". :)

But, again, congratulations.
 
Dont waste time here, go fly!!!! Congrats though. The moment my DE said I past will stick with me for the rest of my life and Im sure its the same with you.

Yup...The DPE I had (real cool guy btw, if anyone in the ABQ/SAF area is looking for a DE, shoot me a PM and I'll give you his name) being the vocal guy he is announced it over the tower frequency. Real cool feeling.

When the examiner and I were taxiing to the ramp after my instrument checkride, the examiner told the ground controller, "We want to thank you guys for all your help, if you could pass that on to tower and approach we'd be grateful.. We have a new instrument pilot with us!" Later that day as I was flying out, departure congratulated me before handing me over to center.

That was awesome.
