Could you just give me some advice how could i start the PPL exam? There are some app or website for practice before training or how does it work?
Thank you for your reply

This forum doesn't respond well to drive-by demands.

Do you have a flight instructor? I would suggest that you listen to his recommendations as he probably has the scoop on local ground school instruction or offers those services himself.

For online and self-study, you might check out gleimaviation.com or sportys.com.

Also, remember this is an international forum.

You need to start a new thread in either the General Topics or Flight Training forums. You've posted in a conversation which is about something else.

There are lots of people who can help you, but they may not see your post because they may not be reading this thread/conversation.

Go to your local airport. Find an instructor. Do you know of any close airports near your location?

Find the airport close to where you live with a flight school, contact them and set up an introductory flight. The instructor will be able to answer all your questions and you'll get a first hand taste of what is involved in learning to fly.

But, i looking for some free PPL exam practice app, or site. I found some of this. If it's possible, could you check me, are those good for me?

Or do you know some other opportunities?

How do you mean 'this is an international forum' ?

Thank you

A couple of questions because I am not understanding were you are coming from with your questions........
How old are you?
Where do you live?
Have you taken any flight lessons?

You aren't going to be able to learn to fly by just reading a book. You need an instructor, practical experience (lessons) and ground school. You are asking about an exam, but why would you be trying to take an exam if you haven't even sat at the controls of a plane yet? What you are asking doesn't seem to make any sense to me. You are studying IFR but you don't yet have a PPL? Perhaps you could explain better and also explain what experience you have had thus far and what your current circumstances are. If you are more specific, you'll get better advice/ more pertinent advice that fits your situation. I am completely confused here.

Hi,
I'm 28y old.
Yes i've taken flight lessons yet, but i just wanted to know your opinion about the topic.
Exactly, i know i can't learn to fly just fly just reading a book, i just looking for some useful book, websites, application what those are for practicing.
I just found some IFR lessons, but i used for just for fun.
What i want to really know, where can i find free digital or offline practicing mode, and description, opinion, advice...etc
Sorry for i confused you.
For example, i try to find other ways, where can i use digital opportunities for learn to fly.

First...Welcome to Jetcareers. There is a wealth of information from members on this forum.

If you are looking for free information on learning to fly, try this: https://www.faa.gov/regulations_policies/handbooks_manuals/aviation/airplane_handbook/

The FAA has a bunch of resources available online as well.

IMHO the most important aspect of initial flight training is have a good CFI. If you have one you like, Great. If not, let Jetcareers know what part of the country you are in and there may be someone on here that can suggest a good CFI. Heck you may even find a CFI from this forum. Rumor has it that there a few CFIs that hang out here.

Thank you for your advice.

Go to your local library

They should have written test questions.
My library carrries the ASA and GLEIM PPL, IFR, commercial books

You would be much better served on http://forums.aopa.org/forumdisplay.php?f=1

I do think you have to join AOPA to use the forums but the group is mostly newer pilots with lots of student pilots.

If you want to start to self study to start my recommendation is to download the FAAs Pilot Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge and the Airplane Flying Handbook (buy them or view them online) and read the first few chapters, that will at least lay a base of knowledge. But most importantly find a quality Instructor, they will provide with you a syllabus and a more structured approach.
