New NTSB pick

I’d have to dig through old materials from USC to be certain but he looks familiar. Almost all the instructors in the SMS program were fantastic. Absolutely shouldn’t be a vacancy but based on his resume and my vague recollections I think that’s a good pick.
 
Is this controversial, or just an experienced guy getting the job? Headline doesn’t make it sound weird

This is the real takeaway, when you have unfettered access into someone's life over social media, it turns out that the vast majority of us are actually human beings with opinions that may not always be popular. Color me shocked!
