Hello,

New member and former Dispatcher here. Just keeping in touch with the current goings-on in the profession and industry.

I should have offered some info about my background. I got my dispatch certificate in '95. My first job was at Piedmont Airlines. I was there for two years and then moved on to a 121 supplemental cargo carrier. I was there for a little over a year, but things were not going well there so I moved on. Did a brief stint at Mesaba, then went to Air Wisconsin. I was there for about 7 years; first as a Dispatcher, then Dispatch Trainer, then Dispatch Coordinator. I left AWAC about 8 years ago, and moved on to other things. Some negative experiences (what job doesn't have those), but for the most part it was rewarding 10 years.

I think he's the greatest, but my dad says he doesn't work hard enough on defense.
The hell I don't! Listen, kid! I've been hearing that crap ever since I was at UCLA. I'm out there busting my buns every night. Tell your old man to drag Walton and Lanier up and down the court for 48 minutes.
