New Laptops are here!!

The new Dell Latitudes aer here and they are slick. Really fast and a nice big screen. Not sure what our school was thinking but I can still get a lot out of a movie on DVD with no sound. Thanks UND, I am no even more unproductive than before.

So if you don't know already, go get your new laptops. I heard when I turned the old Gateway in, the dumpster was like "no way, get that out of here!"

Maybe I didn't make my self clear!! Now I'll be able to watch a DVD on mute during class now that I have a DVD player on my new laptop. Can't really have the sound on or headphones on during class now can I!!
 
You never mentioned "class". How was I supposed to know what you were referring to?

Being that class=classwork, watching a DVD in a class wouldn't be the first thing that pops in my mind.
 
Doh, I thought I had mentioned class. I think I edited it and took out class by mistake.

Btw, not much classwork involved in class!
 
Don't let Higgins see you watching a film. He's the laptop nazi when it comes to making sure noone is doing bad stuff with them.

Can somebody with one of the new aviation laptops tell me if they have USB 2.0? I just bought an external hard drive enclosure thinking my laptop had USB 2.0, but it doesn't. I'm just curious if the new aviation laptops have it.
 
Yup, it has USB 2.0
Though I believe it's only one of the two ports.

They're pretty cool laptops. That's what I'm writing from now and it's been rather good so far.
