I was really just surprised at how weak the performance is once you get into the flight levels. We only about half tanks of fuel and were just around 1000fpm at climb speed in the 20s and less once we made it into the 30s. But this guy also doesn't leave the power up, so I guess it could climb faster.

Just wait till you are climbing with the anti-ice on, we got passed by a king air 90 once.

What do you mean he doesn't leave the power up? Does he use the climb/cruise power chart?
 
Off the subject of the Citation... Do you log time everytime you go flying even if you are not PIC? How does that work if you do that?

99% of the time I am PIC (if I am in the right seat I am probally instructing). The other 1% is like this which is SIC. I don't think I have gone on a strictly ride a long flight in a very long time.
