I just passed my CRJ type ride at Mesa.

Such a relief to be past this hurdle, and on to the real jet.

Congrats! Good news :)

I just wanted to say though, you may want to edit that picture and take out the ID. Some have gotten in trouble for putting their ID pics online. Nothing major, but I do believe it's still SSI stuff. Just be careful, that is all. :)

Thanks for the support from everyone who has helped me along the way.

I decided on Mesa because I wanted to be based in TX so that I would have a short or no commute at all. Mesa has bases in IAH and DFW so I'm covered there. I had been set on going to Eagle (AKA Envoy) but the recent contract drama with AAG scared me off. I also looked at Expressjet and Skywest.

Everyone in the training department was really great to work with. Everything for the CRJ was done in house at PHX. Our class started with 16 guys. Three left for personal reasons, four got pulled to the Ejet halfway through CRJ systems, and nine of us finished on the CRJ.

Age and experience in my class ranged from guys with R-ATP mins and 23 years old to one guy who was 58.

The entire class got DFW for a base, except for the one guy who wanted IAD.

As for the badge in the photo, everything there is publicly available information except possibly my Emp #. Thanks for blurring that out.

Now it's off to IOE and I graduate college in May.

Congrats on graduating, finishing online?

His epalates are stacked on each other. You are seeing the 3rd bar on the bottom one as a 4th bar.

Oh, Ha Ha! I see that on my labtop now, couldn't see it all on my phone.

USMC, all the best and hopefully you get a quick upgrade and outta the regionals ASAP! I've jumpseated on Mesa a couple times, and was always impressed by how friendly the crews were. Good luck!

Great job. I may join you at Mesa. I have a phone conversation set up with Mesa. Houston as a base would be fabulous and that option makes Mesa my first choice since that is an easy commute from my home (by car). I think that requires me to be on an Ejet to get Houston. Fingers crossed that is an option.
