New Delta application service

I didn’t get any email. I haven’t updated airline apps since before the pandemic. I haven’t paid the Playdoh Rhymes annual fee of $69.99 for nearly 6 yrs now.

Had to go to the po-po at 8am for my CCW renewal interview, finally after 2 months since my permit expired, only to be told that now I’ll still need to wait 1 week to 3 months for the official COP approval. And how they’re all backed up.

Came home, went and dropped kids off to school, then back home. Took a nap for my redeye tonight. And now eating food before going to school to pick kids up.

Give up 14th yr to go to the bottom of a 18,000 pilot list right now in the tariff fight economic uncertainty and fly with a guy who tells me he bombed my family members?

It is more now I believe.

That said, you were never required to pay the fee as has been explain to you many times. You chose to pay it and then complained about it. Sounds like an internal problem you need to fix.

There are far better things to complain about. For example, application review services charging $300-$500 these days and giving limited help. Career fairs where you get minimal benefit since you only talk with a recruiter for 15 minutes if you are lucky and spend potentially thousands to attend.

Good news though. Neither of us have to deal with that any more. Still needs fixed as a more competitive hiring climate helps fuel these predatory practices

Oh yes you were. Don’t be obtuse. You got one free app per year. How did that work? Would Delta have multiple apps in the system from one candidate? Or is each new one like starting over? So would Delta see that this individual was only interested in Delta in the past 12 months, at any given time?

Stop defending this app fee garbage. Stop defending this entire system under airline apps. It was long overdue for major airlines to ditch this garbage system.



You’re absolutely correct on app review services and job fair BS. I’ve been vocal about that in the past, but the JC crowd is quick to shoot that down.

It’s all BS. And one more point of correction, I HOPE neither of us have to deal with it anymore. It’s the airline industry, anything goes and anything can happen. We can only hope our carrier is around in some way/shape to retirement.

Dude, calm down. You’re more angry about a system you don’t even have to use any more than things going on in the real world.

Go look at your major economic pointers, that’ll make all of this pale in comparison.

And check your blood pressure. JC does not have advanced defribulators.
