Say Hello to your newest commercial pilot on the website(i think)....passed my checkride yesterday...had to fly to FDK from JYO and when we were done the tstorms had hit....so, i waited, and waited. got home around 830. nice long day but glad to be done. also got to log .5 actual on my way home and shoot a localizer approach to near mins...vis and ceilings were 1500 and 2. mda is 1100. iciing on the cake
 
Congratulations! Sounds like an awesome way to finish up too. Now you've got your "Master's degree"

The test itself was pretty solid. Not too easy, not too hard. the hardest part was the engine out from 3000 ft over the numbers......with multiple aircraft in the pattern. took some maneuvering. But those of you on the east coast know, there has been no visibility better than 6 miles all week and yesterday was closer to 4 miles in haze. so, vfr maneuvers were more like hood work, but that gave me an excuse to be a little off.

I love that feeling after a checkride.....you can forget everything youve been cramming all week into your head.
