Networking for the Bald Guy

Well, for those not knowing I decided to jump in the pool and finally finish my commercial. This actually started back in the late spring, but took until August to actually complete. Then the fun began.

RAH - Interview, sim dead, told would come back....... TBNT
PSA - Interview, jokes on the plane I flew........ TBNT
C5 - Issue on test...... TBNT

Anyone see a pattern here?

XJT - Told need to interview and do sim eval (not all do). Sim eats my lunch, but I tested well on others. Tech went well, I guess. 2 days and nights in IAH, return home about 1am this morning. Late afternoon get call offering ERJ class on 11/18.

AE - I was still trying to finalize a trip, but I will regretfully decline the interview at this point.

WOW... I'm truly in shock.

If it wasn't for finding this website in 2005 and meeting so many people that I now call friends this could of never happened. So many of you have offered to walk resumes in, do LoR and just be there in support. I couldn't ask for more. I've tried to help pay if forward, and it has now giving me the chance I've wanted for years.

Now I have to figure out how to drink from a fire hose. I hear @Toria might be able to give me pointers?

So many people to thank, I'm not sure of all your JC names as we are also FB friends. They include:
@Doug, @Kristie, Delia, Lloyd, Keith, Aaron, Ed, Russ, Mike (Gully), Jake, Dan, Robert, Brett, Ethan, Jeff, Roz, James, Dale, Stan, Sean, Paul, Bob.

and a VERY SUPPORTIVE WIFE!!!!!!!!!

If I missed someone I'm sorry, I'm tired and completely confused. I can't even drink yet as my High School is at the last football game....

Am I hearing the music starting??? I'm being ushered off stage???? Where's my award????

THANKS EVERYONE!!!!!!!

Hey now.... Tori is out of the Fireman business....I hope.

Seriously Tracy, you have so much to offer professional flying. Your life experience and work ethic will provide so much to any future employer, and ExpressJet is extremely lucky to have you. You accomplished this because you wanted it bad enough and had to courage to pursue it. I'm sure that many of your JC family here helped along the way, but you made it happen. Tracy, you did it!

I know that I can speak for others here and congratulate you on your super-duper big accomplishment. We are all very proud of you and feel privileged to be counted among your friends, and now your professional colleagues.

Now get ready to study my friend.... :-)

THIS! Fortunately, Expressjet's recruiting department is mature enough to see how great a benefit this is to have at our airline. They saw what you were offering and wanted it. I'll echo CaptainBill in saying, you did it! And Congrats.. We'll see you out there on the line.

Congrats again, Tracy. I was excited for you today at work, when I saw your Facebook message!

Congrats again!

Now on to the next step. Getting paid a peanut for training.

Glad they got you guys out of that crummy Holiday Inn.
