Need to find an A&P school

HI all,

My name is Andre and I live in Toledo Ohio. I'm a wanna be pilot... wanted to since I was 10.
Not as a career but for fun.
Unfortunately, it seems that everything in life has been more important... school, job, family.

Anyway, I was in Germany and meet up with an A&P in a brew house.
We naturally struck up a friendship.
He asked me to help him find a school in the United States for continuing education when I got back.
He works on Cessna Citations and is looking for a school near where I live in Toledo Ohio.... so we can hang.

Would someone on this list know of any A&P schools for Jets. I know nothing but I would like to point him in the right direction.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Andre Abreu
Toledo Ohio.

It doesnt have any schools listed near you, but I'm sure you can find one. The schools that basically teach you how to pass the written and oral test are all over the place. If there is a nearby military base check by there. I don't reccomend he does that if he has no experience in aviation maintenance though. If he doesn't have any experience he needs to either go to a tech school or find someone willing to hire him without an A&P.

There's a school at the airport. It says Toledo Public Schools on it, but they hold classes for adults too. It's at the end of the west service road.

In addition to the School at KTOL, Western Michigan has a school at KBTL. Other Schools that I know of are Kent University and my old stomping grounds in Tulsa, Spartan School of Aeronautics.

I do not know if any of these schools are better than the other. Good Luck.
