Need something entry level in the DFW area

As I said, I was at GTA for 9 months or so and it really wasn't that bad. A buddy just left Cherry, and while he is glad to be gone, I didn't get the impression he feared for his life.

So which one is it?

GTA. Maybe it has gotten better since? All of the folks I know from there are several years removed. That aside, they still have a not-so-good reputation among the pilot community.

I know about 3 guys who went to GTA. They told me to stay away. I saw their chief pilot do something one time that I thought was questionable, at best, but I don't want to get into any details in public.
