Need quick advice on jeppesen private pilot manual

Is there a big difference between 1996 version and 2007 version?
My flight school uses jeppesen and I need to purchase it fast
So any help would be greatly appreciated

yeah. planes fly a lot different these days!

the FAR chapter might be a LITTLE outdated but i imagine everything else is the same

Well it is after the airspace change so that is good. You will be reading alot more about ADF than you need to, and alot less about GPS reciprocally. Probably not alot different though. You caould probably find a more current JEP PPl on Ebay for very cheap.
 
If you're in ground school, I'd probably buy whichever one the class is using.

If you're learning on your own, do whatever.
