Navy Orange Grove?

I have a friend who was just hired into airfield management there. He's coming from out of state and I haven't been around Corpus Cristi or Robstown in a while.

Any one have info about living in/near Orange Grove? Or is he better off commuting from CC?

Also, any good Pt61 schools nearby/convenient to someone that would be working at KNOG and commuting to nearby areas?

I figure one of our Navy bubbas might have some gouge.
