National Driving Record

I know I could find this on my own, but I'm assuming that many of you have already had to track this down, and I was hoping that you'd have the quickest, most efficient way, of obtaining a NDR. I have an interview, and they want my NDR (notorized as well).

My question is pertaining to the fact that I have lived in five different states over the past 5 years... does my current drivers' license STATE (Minnesota) records encompass all of my other states' records (everything)? Or just the state of Minnesota? Is there a website that pulls up my entire record, or do I have to get each state to send me my record individually? Anyway, thanks for the help, as I'd prefer to avoid searching for an hour online for this information.

Oh, and ps, my driving record is spotless, so I definitely want to make sure this paperwork is in order. Thanks again.

Damn they look at that?

I have 2 speeding tickets, 1 driving with expired license, 1 no seatbelt and 1 racing on the highway

This no good? lol

Good/weird thing is when I pulled up my driving record not too long ago, none of these infractions showed up on my record. Weird? yes :)

The NDR is a database of major violations, mainly DUI charges.
http://www-nrd.nhtsa.dot.gov/departments/nrd-30/ncsa/NDR.html

that website has all the info you need to get a copy of your NDR record.

As for your state records, your best bet will be to call each state. Some states report to others and some don't. For example, I've never had anything but a California license. I got a few tickets in Arizona and Texas, and none of them showed up on my California license report. I got a few tickets in minnesota and florida, and they all showed up. Just call each state's DMV and get a copy of your record. The only other way to get all the information is to call a private detective, give him a couple hundred dollars and send him on a dirt hunt and see what he comes up with....

Getting a report from every state you held a license in and every state you've gotten a ticket in (none in your case) should keep any interviewer happy....

Thank you very much. The only thing they're asking for is the NDR, so this should be easy enough (just go to that link). Thanks again.

ouch... thats no good :( lol I hope few speeding tickets are ok..

any idea what they look for?

oh ok good.. i dont have any of that... and I just checked my record, none of my speeding tickets show anyways :p

I just called them, and it seems like a little bit of a process:( I'm glad that I got on this today, because I have to request for all of my information, get it notorized, then mail (no fax allowed) to them in D.C. Then they send it back to me...can take around a week. Hope I have it in time for the interview. Thanks again for your help, and if anyone is aware of how to obtain this record quicker, let me know.

are you sure they want the actual record, or the application for the record notarized. The company I work for had me fill out the form to get the record then get it notarized and they mailed it for me...you might wanna call the company and ask them.
