It's the phrase that those with "menial" jobs and white collar professionals use in times of crisis.

Actually it is a phrase held by everyone. Doesn't matter about political orientation or whatever else. If something starts to go against you, you will use the phrase. I have seen the phrase on both sides of debates on this forum plenty of times.

Lumping the phrase like that makes it sound like no one but white collar workers use the phrase.

if AIG or Citi used TARP money to buy corporate jets instead of putting it into whatever black hole it's gone down, we taxpayers would have tangible assets that we could point to.

Just a technicality; the President's aircraft aren't "general aviation", they are military aircraft
