NASCAR Race Weekend - 56k beware

I was asked to help out at work with the NASCAR flights that came in on top of our normal transient stuff.

This crew was kind enough to let me take photos of the flight deck. Unfortunately all I had was my 70-200mm lens, so this was the farthest I could zoom out.

Oops! There was a break down of communications here. The pilots thought the marshaller wanted them to turn right away, when the marshaller wanted them to go down farther to the entrance to the ramp. They got a little close to the taxiway light as a result. At least they didn't hit it, like a 727 crew did the last time they were in.

We had to borrow equipment from BAX global, and upon doing so I took my camera and pictures. DC-8s getting a well deserved rest

On our way back, we were told to hold short for departing traffic.

I don't know if I saw any drivers or not (I don't follow NASCAR) but I did talk to a playboy bunny.

I can type 80 words/min with one finger, so I can make it go.

I don't, however, have a smoking jacket or a man-purse, so I'm not quite of the type of individual they desire to fly such "equipment"
