The fatal crash happened Wednesday outside Selma, Alabama.

Very sad-Squadron mate of mine, he was a couple weeks out from change of command and retirement. Fly safe.

Happens. There was a mid air in Virginia and the pilots were from the NTSB in one plane and the FAA in the other. They had to get the Canadian TSB do the investigation.
