NASA planes that could transform air travel by the 2030s

In 55 years we went from the Kitty Hawk to M0.80 pax transport.

In the 65 years since, we’ve gone from M0.80 to…M0.80, with occasional giddy forays to M0.84.
 
You’re one of those guys that keeps stacking points on the same box in the tech tree, right?

Eventually, you have to move up the tech ladder to get to Alpha Centauri and win the game.

Sure, but it always takes longer to level up each time the higher up the tech tree you go

Another moment to remember was in the movie "Blue Thunder", when the F-16 blew up the BBQ shack, they actually dumped real chickens from a helicopter to make it seem like it was "raining chicken".

I’ve done transoceanic on one engine. It’s exactly the same with the notable exception of being incredibly interested in where the nearest ship is at any given moment.

All that work to eventually just bring one GBU-12 with 20 seconds of on station time to the fight? :)
