Narcolepsy & Flying

Living the Dream (well at least trying to)
OVERVIEW:
1) Did sleep apnea overnight test in hospital. Given full nights rest and results were minor sleep apnea. Doctor said no issue of concern here in regard to a sleep apnea since it is very mild.
2) MSLT test immediately followed. This test is where you are awake for 2 hours, then be given the opportunity to take a 15 minute nap. Repeat process 5 times. MSLT result was that I was asleep quickly all 5 naps and on nap 3 and 5 entered REM sleep. Hence, diagnosis of Type 2 Narcolepsy.

QUESTIONS:
Do you know of anyone who has ever been diagnosed with Type 2 Narcolepsy and been able to get a 1st Class Medical?
If so what did they have to complete test wise and show?
What medications or lifestyle changes did they implement to get back in the cockpit?

Those are tough questions. I'm going to sleep on them. I'll give you my answers when I wake up.
