Name your favorite airport restaurant

SEZ. Sedona airport has a great restaurant on the field and the views there are spectacular. Plus you can tell all of your friends that you landed on top of a mesa. :D

If you love Cajun...and I mean real good Cajun...you have to go to KFPR and right on the field is a Cajun place with outdoor seating. They even have a killer bananas foster :nana2::nana2::nana2: and its family run...super nice people.

:yeahthat: For the life of me, I can't remember the name though. But the food is absolutely awesome! Small spot, the owner is also the chef and he makes a point of visiting each table to find out if they are enjoying their meal.

Have to agree with three I've seen here:

The Greek place in ORD... Stop there every time I'm in.

The Hard Eight BBQ in Stephenville, TX (KSEP).... It is just tradition around there.

The Sedona Airport Restaurant in Sedona, AZ (KSEZ): Great breakfasts and cheap prime rib wednesday nights.

I will add the Cypress Inn, a great Cajun/seafood place right outside the back gate of Monroe Regional Airport in Monroe, LA (KMLU). You can sit out on the back deck on the Cypress Swamp and feed the alligators.

The Aviator's Grill at David Wayne Hooks (DWH) airport in Spring, TX for sure! Plus they usually have cute girls working there as well. ;-)Also, the the Turtle in Mansfield (MFD) Ohio is decent as well. Food is so so, but the view is pretty nice!

If anyone is ever in Florida, "Tony's" in Lakeland is one of the best resaurants that one could go to - next to the airport or not. Anyone ever been there? Food is great and it's pretty cheap.

The Downwind Cafe at PDK was great. Also the little place at KESN was a nice place. I think it's still there. Haven't been there in 9 years. All the times I've been to JGG i have never been to the local eatery there on the field. There is an airport in Rutherford NC that has some of the best banana pudding around. I believe it's called the 57 Aplha Cafe.
