Good discount for airport employees, too. My second favorite would be Maniac Mikes at Cable Airport in Upland, CA.

If you love Cajun...and I mean real good Cajun...you have to go to KFPR and right on the field is a Cajun place with outdoor seating. They even have a killer bananas foster :nana2::nana2::nana2: and its family run...super nice people.

awesome place in camarillo but i forgot the name. YOu can sit outside on the weekends while they grill ribs and brisket and watch all the warbirds.

The food in Pelican Aviation in Acadiana Regional (KARA) in New Iberia, LA was the shizz. It was about 3 or 4 bucks for crawfish or whatever else etoufee with a soda and ice cream cone. And don't forget to pick up your own cool looking Pelican Aviation t-shirt for 5 bucks. While you're there you'll very likely see at least one of the following:
AF UPT Students in a T-38 or T-1, probably some T-6s now too with their range
NASA T-38s
Seaplanes landing on the water strip abeam the actual runway

Got to love the home of the throwed roll! That place is awesome. We used to fly a few Chinooks out there now and then during training flights for lunch.
