By an incredible stroke of luck and determination, I've managed to land the most coveted of all ramp jobs.

You're looking at SWA's newest ramper!!! :D:D:D

Goodbye LAX, hello SNA. :)

Thanks to everyone that has helped on this site to get me where I'm at now. I appreciate it so much.

Holy crap man! Congrats!!!!!!!!!

Tell me how it is over at the "bright" side! Us at Skywest can only dream of being at Southwest! Hahaha

As much as I'm sure you're happy, to me, ramping in the summer in Socal would be something equivalent to the 7th circle of hell, exceeded only by PHX. Heck, it's 80 here in Juneau and WAY TOO HOT!

Oh, and Congrats!

I dunno, man. I've seen the rampers in HOU during the summer. They don't look real happy when it's 97 degrees with a heat index of 105.

You need GILLS to breathe in Houston in the summer.

And congrats on the new gig, Jshutt64. I know a few SWA employees personally and they ALL, without question, love working there.

Congrats!!!! Well done! You're in my neighborhood now!

To you, yes. But Socal in the summer is much like socal the rest of the year....cool and sometimes overcast in the morning, and sunny and 75 the rest of the day ;)

Congrats man! The 737 is a great aircraft to work around, except for the -200:p

That is still way too warm!

It's really not that bad, especially at the coastal airports like LAX and SNA. Yeah it gets warm, but the hottest it will ever be on a regular basis is 80-85 and even then you usually get a nice breeze from the ocean. :)

Now ONT, that's a different story. :pirate:

Congrats man! It might not seem like it but it's a pretty hard gig to get at a lot of airports. Have fun, keep your head on a swivel, and don't let the heat get to you!
