Hello forum,

I'm a military King Air pilot (Reservist), looking for some contract work, charter work, or an SIC position. Shoot me a PM if you have any leads or opportunities.

Thank you for looking.

Question: I'm 31, screwed up my military aviation career, dont my licence but am really good at it. How long would it take me to get it and how much? Also how do pilots get jobs as a private jet pilots?

Nathan,

I don't know how long it would take you to get your license, its proficiency based. Though I'm not sure the "Jobs Needed" forum is where you intended to post this. Maybe try the "Flight Training" portion of the forums.

Best of luck.

Freight Runners Express in Milwaukee, WI is looking for captains in Cessna402 and Beech 99s. PM me if you would like more information. They have pretty good pay and a good quality of life!

Pilotguyr6, I appreciate the heads up. Unfortunately I don't meet Part 135 PIC requirements. I've talked to them about a First Officer position, but have not heard anything back.

Edited for spelling.

Ah I see, at this time I do not think they are hiring any FOs. When you meet 135 minimums take another look, they are always hiring.

I'd assume you have an active security clearance. Look at Dynamic, L3 and Avenge.

Fugro Geospatial was hiring recently, based in Rapid City SD. Their CP is a former military King Air guy too (per a friend that interviewed)

@bimmerphile , Fugro doesn't have any openings at this time. But thank you for the lead.

@nmineau , Unfortunately I'm well below Gama's mins, even for FO.

Thank you all for the pointers, and heads up on companies hiring. I know there are jobs out there for low time guys, and I'm not giving up yet.

What way did you screw up your career? FNAEB, FEB, washout, etc? There are still plenty of good professional flying opportunities even with a black mark on your military records that does not cross over to your FAA records.

PM me if you don't want to discuss in open forum...
