I see that in the pilot perspectives MikeD says he has 45 days of the A-10 left as he was leaving for training in the F117. Well Mike, did you begin it yet or when will you?
 
He'd tell you, but then he'd have to shoot you. j/k

Last A-10 flight will be on Wed the 28th. Be tooling through Phoenix to a low-level MTR north of Deer Valley in the Black Canyon City area.

Awesome. I wanted to fly in the military too but I talked to a recruiter today and my hopes were crushed. I only need 30 degrees to be able to qualify since I need a 20/70 and I have about 20/100. I will try one of those natural eye correction things and stay off the computer as much as possible. The F117 is an awesome aircraft. Too bad you can't show us pictures. Well you could, but then you'd have to kill us.

The military pilots I work with tell me that you can get waivers for your vision as long as it is correctable to 20/20. They all agree that prk or any other eye procedure would all but ruin any chance of you flying for the military if you do it prior to getting a pilot slot. The Air Force does not know how these procedures will affect the eyes in the long run, and they know that after you cut your eyes, any g-forces from a fighter could actually rupture your eyeball.
