SkyWest Airlines Saint George, Utah:<BR /><br>Primary Job Duties<br><br><p><span>The Manager OCC Dispatch has oversight over all OCC dispatchers, including policy and procedure development and implementation. Additionally, the Manager OCC Dispatch assists in monitoring and ensuring dispatcher duty and rest times are maintained in accordance with all applicable FARs. When directed, the Manager OCC Dispatch assumes duties of the Director OCC Standards.</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Primary Job Duties</p><ul><li><span>Is highly knowledgeable regarding FARs, National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), HMR, Company manuals, and operating procedures applying to the OCC.</span></li><li><span>Assists in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures, including the contents of the DPM and the DTM.</span></li><li><span>Assists in the development, implementation, and auditing of dispatch duty/rest time policies and procedures.</span></li><li><span>Acts as liaison with the FAA and other Company personnel on OCC issues.</span></li><li><span>Attends industry meetings as needed.</span></li><li><span>Research IORs, SCRs, ASAPs, and internal and external audit data and then develops and implements process/procedures to mitigate as necessary.</span></li><li><span>Assists with audits of OCC functions in accordance with the OCC Internal Evaluation Program (IEP).</span></li><li><span>Collaborates with other OCC managers to develop and implement procedures and processes to enhance the efficiency of the OCC.</span></li><li><span>Assists in the interview and hiring processes of the OCC for both internal and external candidates.</span></li><li><span>Conducts yearly performance evaluations on all dispatchers and dispatch supervisors.</span></li><li><span>Tracks and analyzes employee behavioral and performance issues.</span></li><li><span>Determines and issues appropriate employee corrective actions and discipline for dispatchers and dispatch supervisors.</span></li><li><span>Maintains OCC dispatcher records.</span></li><li><span>Maintains working knowledge and understanding of the SkyWest Airlines GDP.</span></li><li><span>Works directly with the SkyWest Aircraft Dispatchers Association (SADA) to address work group concerns.</span></li><li><span>Acts as point of contact for the SkyWest Airlines Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.</span></li><li><span>Reviews and assesses cause, effect, and impact of changes made to all training processes and applicable manuals, making adjustments as necessary.</span></li><li><span>Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and participates in EPI, SAI, IOSA, and DOD inspections.</span></li><li><span>Acts as a SME and participates in analysis of events that may be reported using the VDRP.</span></li><li><span>Performs all other duties as assigned by the Director OCC Standards and/or the Vice President OCC.</span></li></ul> <br><Strong>
