SLP is Sea Level Pressure, and you put a 10 in front of it, making it 1024.0.

T01890117 is the temperature and dewpoint in decimals, so 18.9 and 11.7.

Those random numbers in the end have to do with pressure changes and Im not sure what they all mean.

The equal sign means its the end of the metar

Hope that helps a little

SLP240 is Sea Level Pressure. I forget what exactly the numbers mean...:whatever:

T01890117 is the temperature/dewpoint expressed to tenths of a degree. So the 0189 converts to 18.9 and the 0117 converts to 11.7. Then I think if the temp is negative, the zeros will be one.

The last three tokens you can then forget about. They deal with something the sensor measures that has no utility to pilots.

SLP240 is the sea level pressure in hectopascals. The numbers are tens, units, and tenths.

T01890116 is a precise temperature dewpoint reading. You saw this in the METAR earlier as 19/12

10189 is the 6 hour maximum temperature. It's always coded with a 1, the following numbers give the temp. A 0 after the first 1 means the temp is above 0C or a 1 is used for a temp of below 0C. So this example is a 6 hour max temp of 18.9 deg Celcius.

20067 is the 6 hour minimum temperature. Same coding as above. 6 hour low was 06.7 deg Celcius

58002
Pressure tendency. 5 Defines it as such, the next number is the type of change occurring such as steady, increasing steadily, etc (possible numbers of 0-8, but I don't know the definitions of them all...can probably find a table somewhere.) Last 3 digits are the amount of change in tenths of hectopascals.

Since those numbers were red, it also means someone has spilled red paint on the flight line. So be careful :D.
