Make-or-break week for Mesaba's future
Oct. 13, 2005: Mesaba Airlines files for bankruptcy protection.
December 2005: Mesaba asks its labor unions for concessions.
Today: Mesaba asks U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Gregory Kishel for permission to void its labor contracts with pilots, flight attendants and mechanics.
Friday: If Kishel grants Mesaba's motion, the airline will seek an injunction to block a labor strike.
Sunday: If no deals are reached at the bargaining table, Mesaba intends to impose lower pay rates and new work rules on its unions.
