For you newly certificated types - here is a chance to get some jet experience. I can't claim that Mesa is an awesome company to work for as I was there myself many years ago - but they have been around for a while, and it is good experience. PHX is a nice place to live also, if you can stand the summer heat.

I seen that, just out of curiosity how much they start people at? I have a aunt that lives out that and love the heat. I wish when US Airways merged with America West that they kept the SOC in PHX

No idea what they start at these days. Someone who has worked there more recently than me might know. However, as their CEO hasn't changed since I was there, I wouldn't expect more than industry average pay for regionals.
