I made a video of our landing and take off in Spruce Creek in the Meridian and figured I'd show them to all you.

That Spruce Creek has got to be the coolest place I've ever been.

I think this is what FalconCapt. flew when he went to Riddle /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Nice videos! I've always wanted to fly in a Meridian...how'd you get a chance to fly in one?

Long story. Basically I just asked if I could ride along with him when he goes flying and he said sure. And don't worry Kristie, I do know him. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Holy shmuck Alex, that is cool!

I've always wanted to see a Meridian in action too.

Show us more vids, you rich, lucky guy, you. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Is that an MP3 player, or XM Radio I see? Does the plane have a kickin stero system?

2nd Picture all the way to the right!

Very impressive CK, thanks for sharing. What is the aircraft's primary use? Recreation? If so, what does the owner do for a living?
Nice groundspeed. That's about what I got down there when I flew a Cheyenne!

That ground speed is nothing. We had a 50 knot headwind most of the trip. We trued out at 285 (better then most King Airs at a third the cost). /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The airplane is for both business and recreation, but he can basically do his job with a labtop and a cell phone. He owns the second largest trucking company in the U.S. He's got a bunch of houses across the county so he uses the airplane to fly to them and also to visit customers and go to meetings. He's got that and a beautiful Twin Commanche which may be the nicest one in the world (it's nicer then AOPA's).

It's an XM Radio. Has a very nice stero system in it. I'm not sure if it was a question, but yes the second picture is all the way to the right.

Those vortices coming off the prop on takeoff were pretty cool. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

That would be because this thread is from over a year ago.

ROTFLMAO!!!!!!! Thanks for putting us in the know JH. I think most of us don't look at the date/time stamp for threads. I would have to :sitaware: myself on this one.

Oh eff me. At least it wasn't me who brought it back!

:sitaware: is not good today....
