Memphis On Friday . . .

I'll be in the sim...

Kids are out for spring break...

If I survive the sim, I've got a date with my wife.

Actually, by the time I'm out, she'll probably be asleep.

Where are they puttin' ya up?

.

I'll be at The Airport Radisson. I'll be done at about 8 or so, and don't have to fly until about 1600!!

Wouldn't it be cheaper just for you to take the plane back to Nashville and return to pick them up? You ever hear back from Independance (Cessna)?

Yeah, call me. :)

Friday is supposed to be a short day for us, then they release us for the weekend to study for the FOM test, work on memory items, flows, limitations, callouts and profiles. I could use a distraction or five.

Noooooo, it would be cheaper for me to sleep in Memphis, eat three good meals, drink lots of Scotch, and bill the owner! Really!!

If I fly back to Nashville, then return on Saturday, that's about 3.2 hobbs. If I can get the fuel back to about 17.5/hour. That's 56 Gallons. At $4.50/Gallon, that's $267.68 in gas, just to ferry the aircraft empty to Nashville and back. That's not including fixed wear & tear on the aircraft and the pilot! I'd get back home at 10:00 PM or so, and the old lady is already asleep and has to be at work at 7:30.

By staying in Memphis, I'm definately saving the owner some cash!!

That just depends on how much scotch you drink. I just discovered 10 Cane rum last weekend...yum!!
