I didn't realize Chatauqua flew ERJ's for UAX...thought the only two were Trans States and Expressjet?

They stopped flying the ERJ for UAX back in December '09.

About 3 years ago AWAC was flying a bunch of Marines from OAJ to PHL where they were connecting to their international flight to get deployed. The Marines made the connection just fine but their 30 M16s in packing cases did not. Last I knew they hadn't found the missing weapons.

I brought in a load of Marines from ILM a few months ago and was met by two cops and an MP. Apparently this is the procedure now when weapons are being shipped through PHL.

I agree. I would let them slug it out if they werent infront of planes loaded with passengers.

Yeah it was CHQ. The pilot went to the hospital and the mechanic went to jail. One of my favorite quotes (based on a belief the write up was about a hole in a stabilizer): "How does it go from "hey you've got a hole in your stab" to "I'm gonna punch you until you go to the hospital?""

The behavior is dispicible, but...when you go to the bottom of places to work, and pay is so low that even pilots qualify for food stamps, people who are trying to keep their families fed will resort to these types of things. It is very troubling. This is happening nationwide in all industries...

I've seen more than one FA have her purse stolen from an airplane in the last year. What really surprised me was how NOT helpful the airline was when it happened.

I just thought of something...if someone steals from the airplane, then someone with nefarious intentions HAS been aboard the aircraft, and it needs to have a new security screening before boarding, along with an IOR and a possible delay. This sort of thing has never happened to me, but I'll be ready when it does!
