Any of you southern (or northern) JCers ever flown into Maxton airport in NC. Flew in their back in January and was thrilled at what I found. Wonder if anyone knew the history of that airport and perhaps any old photos of it. If you've never been, I suggest you check it out sometime.

Good 'ole Laurinburg! I flew in there a couple of times when I lived in NC...cool little place!!

I made a fuel stop there last month. Don't remember much about the airport, though, except there was lots of skydiving (read: Golden Knights and Army ops) going on in the area.
