GE Aerospace Greenville, South Carolina:<BR /><strong><span>Job Description Summary</span></strong>The Master Production Planner focuses day-to-day efforts towards the creation and maintenance of a constrained weekly master production schedule (MPS) and handles the frozen horizon for all possible production requirements (weekly scheduling, forecast analysis, recovery planning). Plan and schedule material/production needs.<p><p><strong><span>Job Description</span></strong><div><div><p><u>Roles and Responsibilities</u></p></div><ul><li><span>Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules.</span></li><li><span><span>Responsible for the Work-in-Process and Finished Goods planning for the Site including ensuring GE</span></span> <span><span>Aerospace Production Loop standards are being met</span></span></li><li><span><span>Interface with Customer-facing functions within GE Aerospace Supply Chain Materials and Product </span></span><span><span>Ops for latest intelligence on need. </span></span></li><li><span><span>This also includes problem solving for On-Time Delivery gaps to</span></span> <span><span>the Site’s next customer.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Support the Site’s Capacity Planning routines with leadership to optimize materials, people and machine</span></span> <span><span>resources for customer delivery fulfillment.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility,</span></span> <span><span>including control of resources and influences policy formulation / standard work.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to</span></span> <span><span>improve products, processes or services.
