Marking forum read

It may be me getting used to the new format, but I seem to be unable to mark whole forum threads as read when inside that forum.

For example, if I am viewing all general topic threads and want to mark them all as read, I select the option from the drop down doohicky and click on "mark all as read"

But, unfortunately it does nothing.

So, I never know what I have and have not read and what is new other than the position of the thread within the list

You can mark an individual forum read within the forum and the entire forum read when on the main index page.

yeah. no worky.

I think it only happens though when I have a thread from within the forum open in another tab.

it's a work around, but at least it works when I only have one JC page open.
