Hey gang… check your emails… big discounts were just offered via email. Alas I will be staying at the Luxor yet again however it was $430 for 3 nights. The Cosmo was discounted to $415/night average for the duration… plus free cancellation until the 14th of Oct.
Keep your eyes peeled for those emails just in case you hit the lottery before heading to the desert!

I have zero status with MGM too and get comp offers all the time. I booked a room back in March and got 2 comp nights at Park MGM.
