Lunch in INDY

We spend a fair amount of time in IND so we have decided to hit some of the noted but smaller restaurants. (We try to NOT do chains) This is one we have been to before and today was again an enjoyable meal.

The restaurant is Siam Square at 936 Virginia Ave. (317-636-8424) It is authentic Thai and you can ask for many entrees as mild, medium or hot. The hot will light you up but the heat complements the food and is not there just for the pyrotechnics.

I had the Chao Praya Shrimp, breaded shrimp with Thai curry, kaffir lime leaves and coconut milk ($16). The F/O had Pad Ba Mee ($14), shrimp with bok choy, bean sprouts and broccoli. Both come with rice.

There is a lunch menu with no substitutions for $8. Note too.. the primary utensil for Thai food is NOT chopsticks but a large spoon.

Recommended. Enjoy
