Anyone been out at their 121 for significant periods on LTD? Say over a year? What's the return process like? I've heard a few things about warm up sessions, but haven't seen anything in writing. I'm guessing is varies by carrier, but am curious. Thanks,

It varies by airline. It should be in your manuals. If you don’t feel like finding it, get with your Aeromedical and/or R&I rep and ask them.

I'm reading at Brown if you're out a year you do a two week course. Not sure how many sims.

Generally your company's training manual will have the different requal courses in it. The "normal" FAA cutoffs are up until 30 days is just a normal CQ, 30 days to 48 months is a few dats of ground, a warmup sim or two and then a CQ, and more than 48 months is a full initial. But that can get modified to whatever the training department and their POI agree to.

Friend of mine is in this boat at my shop. He was told it would be a full course (I suppose maybe minus indoc?). Only one sample. For reference he has been out since Jan 2023.

Found it in the manual with assistance! Looks like a couple of warm up FTDs and an extra ground session, then recurrent.
