Looking for a job in MN or commutable

I'm located in Mankato, MN (College student) and looking for seasonal employment this summer (May - Late August).

Quals:
Commercial Single and Multi + Instrument
950TT
17.5 ME (Will be getting checked out in a Twin Comanche to get at least 15 more hours, likely more).
~360 Complex

Experience:
I flew aerial survey last summer approx 100 hours.

If I could fly right seat in a twin requiring an SIC or a turboprop requiring an SIC that would be ideal and fun, but I really enjoyed my time flying aerial survey. I do have access to a plane that I could use to commute (160kts) if the job would allow. If accommodations were available that would work to.

I also have a friend looking to build about 100 hours and a brother who needs about 50 hrs, which we might do, so 135 IFR isn't to much of a reach.

I'm currently pursuing another opportunity that I would accept over a job, so I'm mainly looking to see if anyone is aware of companies in need of a pilot which I could contact if my deal doesn't work out.

Thanks!

Aviation Charter at Executive Aviation in FCM would be a place to look. Hired a lot of Mankato grads in the past.

If you're just looking for summer work a drop zone might be your best bet. I knew there used to be one that would take guys at 700 or 800 hours in a Caravan not far from where you're from, but the owner got in some trouble with drugs and I don't know what happened there. If you're looking for twin time you might want to check out http://www.weathermodification.com/careers.php They hire seasonal pilots now and then and its all twins as I understand, they're based in Fargo. I think the drop zone could be perfect for you as many in the summer offer free housing on site or nearby and you could get enough time to be at 135mins.

I'll look into that

I'm aware of a few dropzones, I've been keeping an eye on dropzone.com for some out of the region as well, and I actually called on weathermod a few months ago, they said to wait till a position opened up online.
